Dr. Le Hong Thia, a distinguished scientist and lecturer, possesses a strong academic background in environmental science and biodiversity conservation. She is currently the Deputy Director and a lecturer at the Institute of Environmental Science, Engineering and Management, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.

With over 15 years of experience in research and teaching, her work focuses on mangrove ecosystems, phytoremediation, environmental data analysis, biochemical responses to environmental stress, microbial applications in waste treatment, and heavy metal pollution assessment. In addition, she has extensive experience in supervising award-winning student research projects on agricultural waste treatment and heavy metal accumulation, demonstrating her ability to foster innovative solutions.
